Preparation for the Eighth Grade Exam – Online Course with a Teacher

The eighth grade exam is one of the first important steps in a student’s education. At 3BEAT, we help students pass it calmly and effectively – with a good result and without unnecessary stress.

This is a one-on-one preparation course with an experienced teacher, conducted online – in Polish or a foreign language (English, German, or Russian).

The course programme includes:

• learning strategies for solving exam tasks,
• review and consolidation of school material,
• practice using sample tests and exam papers.

What does the eighth grade exam look like?

The eighth grade exam is compulsory, meaning every student must take it in order to complete primary school.

The exam consists of three mandatory parts:

1. Polish language – tests reading comprehension, essay writing, knowledge of required reading and grammar.
2. Mathematics – not covered in the language course.
3. Modern foreign language (most often English) – includes reading, listening, grammar and writing short functional texts.

The duration of the exam is:

• Polish language – 120 minutes,
• Foreign language – 90 minutes.

The result of the exam affects secondary school admissions.

Sample tests and exercises

During the course, we work with:

• authentic CKE exam papers from previous years,
• exam-type tasks adapted to the student’s level,
• original materials developing vocabulary, grammar and writing skills.

Each student also receives access to a set of mock tests, some of which we solve together during lessons.
